Hashimu Millanga M
Principal Geologist & CEO
Hashimu is a geologist and founder of VOT Mwanza Limited. He has 15 years’ experience in the local and international exploration and mining industry, of which the last 6 years have been spent in consulting. His expertise includes the areas of project acquisition, management of exploration programs, JV discussions, inputs in scoping and feasibility studies, conducting of due diligence studies, formal reporting and offering geo-corporate advice.
His experience involves working in a number of projects in different African countries in a variety of geological settings and commodities. He has personally managed or participated in many grass roots and advanced exploration programs for a wide range of deposit types including: IOCG, Diamonds, Lake Victoria Greenstone Au, Birmian Greenstone Au, and Bauxite, Graphite, and Roll front Uranium, Nickel Laterites and Nickel sulphides.
Hashimu has a bachelor Science with Geology from the University Of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and is a member of Australian Institute of Geoscientists and Tanzania Geological Society.
Emmanuel E Kisendi
Principal Geologist
Emmanuel is a geologist with 15 years technical and management experience in Africa, and mostly in Tanzania and Botswana. He is energetic and assertive individual with significant operational, and leadership experience within, exploration and Mining companies. Experience in all aspects of the geological continuum from target generation and grassroots exploration through to near mine operations. Holder of Bsc in Geology from University of Dar es Salaam and Master of Science in Geo-Information Science and Earth Observations for Water Resources and Environmental Management from Twente University Holland.
Experienced in greenstone hosted gold, REE Exploration, Mineral sands, Graphite, Copper and kimberlite (Diamond exploration in central craton of Tanzania) from target conceptualization to the planning and implementation of exploration programmes. Also experienced in Groundwater Exploration and Modelling.
Emmanuel Nyamusika
Principal Resource Geologist
Mr Emmanuel Nyamusica is a geologist with over 27 years’ experience in the mining industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from university of Dar es Salaam and a Master’s of science in Mineral production management from Imperial College London. He is a member of Australian institute of Mining and Metallurgy and acts as a competent person as defined by JORC 2012.
Emmanuel Has worked in various countries in the World and has been exposed to various geological settings. He has worked in Lake Victoria Gold fields, Karoo formations, Birmian Greenstone and many others. He has spent most of his life working in advanced exploration projects and mining where he held he held management positions.
His area of expertise includes mine design and planning, management of technical and supporting staff, budgeting and resource estimation
Markon Alphonse M
Chartered Accountant
Markon is a Professional Accountant with over 15 years experience in Financial Management, Internal Auditing and Information Systems Audit.
He is holding a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI) is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a member of the Tanzania
National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA), Information System Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and
Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
He has worked in various companies and Institutions holding management positions in diverse industries such as Mining, Education, Banking, Donor funded projects, automotive, diplomatic institution and is currently working as a part time Management Consultant at Business School of Africa.
Johnmacdona Proty
GIS and Database and Resource
Mr Johnmacdona Proty Labia is a geologist with over 6 years’ experience in the mining industry. He holds a Bachelor degree of Science in Geology from university of Dar es Salaam and a Master’s degree of Science in Petroleum Geology from University of Dar es Salaam.
He is a member of Tanzania Geological Society (TGS).
Mr. John's experience includes, geological database management, designing sections and plans, building geological and mineralization models and Resources estimation.
Anneth Richard Makundi
Accounts & HR
Miss Anneth Makundi, is an accountant in the field with 6 years of working experience in Financial Management,Businessa administration and internal Auditing. She is the holder of Bachelor in Business administration from St. Augustine University of Tanzania.
She has worked in various government institutes TANROADS & TRA as a part time worker. Currently working as an Accountant at VOT MWANZA Limited.
